This afternoon again brought together ex Van Hee and fellow Northeast drivers at the usual venue of the Newcastle Labour Club in the city centre. While it was another enjoyable evening the event was also sadly marred by the recent sudden death of Mr Tony Van Hee only last week when in France. Attached is a notice for a memorial service for Tony for those wishing to attend. I am sure all those that knew Tony through business or friendship would want to pass on their condolences and thoughts to Tony’s wife Joan, his Children and Grandchildren following their unexpected and sad loss. Below is a photo taken at a previous reunion which Tony attended and enjoyed which the picture clearly shows, he was very much looking forward to today’s get together also and was sadly missed by all. Passed away suddenly on 12th October in France, aged 79 years. Tony was the much loved Husband of Joan, Father to Jason, Vicky and Georgina. Also a dearly loved Grandfather. A memorial Service is to be held on Friday 28th October at 1pm at St George’s Church Jesmond. All welcome afterwards at Northumberland Tennis Club. Tony will be greatly missed.
