hello Guys,
I’m having my brother buy me this gift, a TOM TOM 7100 pro truck, i needed to know if its any good, have you used it? does it work well with long hgv?
the older model is the TOM TOM 7000, its an obsolete model now. this 7100 is the next up.

I use 7000 and it’s 99% spot on.
With all sat navs no matter what the make or model it should be used as a guide and not as the definitive.

Not ever used 7100 but assume its just minor modifications.( Always willing to be corrected by those in the know. )

It’s rather expensive. Myself i would of got a cheaper standard tomtom GPS and gone over to gpsunderground and convert it to truck and put truck maps on ect, can be done quite easily from what i gather.
