On my travels this morning on the M1 I was passed slowly (traffic queues)by an E J Taylor Transcontinental 4424 recovery motor, single axle pair of chrome stacks beige in colour, anyone have any pictures of it? and no I didn’t get any myself.

That’s the one, a real beauty made a lovely sound spec lifting a dead merc sprinter.
My MFS Transcontinental DWB 225V was turned into a wrecker after it was sold.
A couple of before and after photos,top one taken on Woodhead early one morning when on nights and the other is not my photo.
The wrecker is about the same length as the one I saw yesterday.

Hi Pete,as far as I recall that wrecker ended up in Montrose but it could have been at Crick at one time or another.
