Shouldn’t make any difference as all examiners are trained the same.

Does that mean we will have only a few army examiners if the civvy examiner strike goes ahead 
I’m sure that using MOD examiners is a good thing but the problem is it’s not only the time it takes to get a test that holds up new drivers, after passing the test you’ve still got to get your licence and from what I’ve heard that can take several weeks.
I know that technically a new pass can legally drive but try telling that to an employment agency or one of their clients who’s likely to have the attitude “no photo licence no drive” 
Someone needs to tell the DVLA to prioritise applications for HGV licenses.

Are they sitting along side the DVSA examiner with a SA80 pointing at them making sure they pass the candidate
How many hours of training do MOD test candidates normally have before their test?
I expect it’s a lot more than 14 hours.
If so, MOD testers could be used to seeing a higher standard of driving on test and therefore fail more “civvy” test candidates than DVSA testers.
