Does anybody know which is the best way from Leeds to London? I’m doing this run tonight and can’t work out the best route. I really could do with some help on this. Thanks in advance!

I would say the best way from Leeds to London would be by executive jet whilst being orally administered by two or three hot girls. But that’s just my opinion.

If a bridge is marked up at 15’ 7" will my 15’ 4" trailer fit under it ■■

Certainly, provided the “7” was not a “1” before the local grafittee expert operated on it!

How’s that for spelling, GBPub?

And aluminum
And sulfur

I went two minutes over my driving time and a bloke at work said elite VOSA soldiers would probably storm my house in the middle of the night and take me to a concentration camp for execution. Is this true? :frowning:

I had a argument with someone at work last Friday, in the snow we have a plough fitted to a shunt motor, they were under the kosh on nights as its only a skeleton shift but a few of us warehouse lads have cat C so I offered to drive the shunt motor to clear the yard of snow and the roads on the industrial estate was told I didn’t have the right entitlement, which is BS as I know you can drive any fixed bodied vehicle with a cat C.

I’d be intrigued to know exactly what licence or certification he thinks you do need.

Yes you are correct. Any rigid vehicle (non pcv) can be driven on a Cat C

He implied I needed C+E

Assuming the plough is attatched to the front (as it should be) you actually need E+C. Or if the pushing vehicle is under 7.5T you need E+B.

simple…

up the A1 to Edinburgh, across the M9 to Perth, down the M80 to Glasgow, M74 to the M6, M6 down to the M5, down the M5 to the M4, across the M4 to bracknell, then down the A329(M) to the A329, then on to the A322 to the M3, turn left on to the M3 and that will see you in london safely

should only take you a couple of hours from Leeds

is 5 shillings and sixpence per hour considered a crap wage in this day and age?

I’ve bought an electric lawn mower, can I power this from the lighter socket in my Daf LF?

Yeah, and when you`re broken down on the Hard Shoulder of the Motorway ,
…you can mow the grass whilst awaiting the Breakdown Service.

Cheers, cattle wagon man.

P.S. Don`t forget to carry plenty of extension leads.

That would be depend on whether or not you can bang in eighty hours a week. Two weeks for the price of one, so to speak. If that’s the case, then I’d consider five shillings and sixpence an hour an excellent wage.

Is it true that if you put your bank card in a digi tach it converts the driving minutes into pounds which can then be withdrawn from a cash machine. Is it true that everyone who leaves the sas now drives a truck.
