Tips on what to bring

Hi everyone,

I hope your all safely enjoying the suffocating heat! I am going to be training with PSST in the coming months and would like to know what I will need to take with me for the in class training day? Is it just a case of a pen and brains? Will there be a lunch break?

Im quite a shy and nervous person especially as I will be very far from home, I lost my partner to Covid last year and he was my biggest supporter so I do hope I will meet some nice people along the way! Thanks for any replies and enjoy your afternoon…with ice cream!

I’m shy and nervous too and did plenty of training courses and in the end there was nothing to worry about, there is an instant bond between fellow drivers then the banter gets ramped up to comedic proportions where you can actually have a good laugh, after the day is done , out for a meal and pints with fellow class mates .
A quick tip would be different coloured highlighter pens to aid memory, writing paper or note pad .

Phone charger and lots of water from Aldi or Lidl and some power snacks like muesli bars .

Excellent thankyou, they were a few items i had not even considered! Im a young woman so not too sure about the pints lol Will be good to meet new people tho

If the training involves staying at accommodation, lots of fans to take to keep cool, it’s tempting to buy a proper air conditioning unit with wheels on it but that won’t fit in the car , apparently most of them are sold out .
