Jensen, you can’t be from a “sand and gravel” background; Sand and gravel IS wet processed. The as dug ballast is screened to take out +75mm material and is basically washed and separated through a collection of sieves to various sizes (75-40 is normally part washed rejects). Dry processed is crushed limestone or recycled ■■■■■■■■.
You’d be a fool to sheet material bigger than 200mm as a sharp stab at the brakes will tear your sheet. The main reason why demolition rubble isn’t sheeted is because of the reinforcing wire it contains. If it doesn’t rip your sheet it’ll pull into the winding motor and do some more damage.
