The Timebook by Renault one I got the other day and it’s ok, very useful intact, but they entirely forgot the “other work” option. Unless I’ve missed something?

Time resets to 0 when you press the driving button on and off
I know this is an old post but just wanted to add my twopence worth. If one wants to save attempting to do a manual log in their diary it is very useful. As for manual switching I use a spare phone and locate it on the air grill. I have found it accurate and the ■■■■■■■■■■ hours for the day useful. Entries can be manually edited.
As for the wish for auto switching which seems a great idea. The two other apps offering it (through GPS) I have found are not reliable. One of them not accurate and also interfered with my camera app.
Timebook I have found completely reliable for what it is intended - just a manual recording to save manual paper and pen recording. What I did find annoying was having to delete entries manually i.e. one by one for driving, other work etc. However, not that it is written anywhere… if one selects a day to delete and pauses over the entry, it changes to blue and a delete icon is displayed… entire day easily deleted. I like this log for calculating my weekly, fortnight summary, and having an instant reply when the office ask about driving time or working time from the ■■■■■■■■■■ display.
As for an aid with manual calcs there are several time calculator apps (i.e. hours, minutes, seconds) - I use TimeCalc.
