The Beatles
Was it not more about a major change in feeling the freedom, different style clothes, long hair, rebellion, drugs, attitudes, opportunitys,
The young had grown up and people took notice and the music just carried it along
I think this thread is getting ââinfestedââ with The Beatles.
YOU brought them up btw.
Thanks for the reply Robroy. My sister asked me the same question, when I displayed a mild dislike for a particular race. My dislike is of the lie, cheat and con characteristics of that race, individually the some of the people are okay. That might be a custom, rather than a culture.
I had difficulty verbalizing what I felt my culture was.
Ooh be careful mate you will have the forum âWitchfinder Generalâ on your case screaming 'racistâat you for that one.
If you had come on here saying âi hate ALL xyz.sâ âŚin my book that is the definition of a pure racist.
Instead you have explained fully that those of that particular race ⌠that you have personally had experience of, display a number of very negative characteristics that you do not like.
You then say âŚbut you have found others ok, not only that you look for a reason as to why they may be like that,.and put it down to their custom or characteristicsâŚie partly my definition of âcultureâ.
In my mind that does not make you a racist, you are merely noting your own experiences of said people
Same with meâŚ
I was knocking religion not race.
It just happens that imo those who do not practice that particular religion by ânatureâ (for want of a better word) but for some bizzare reason best known for themselves, (usually attention seeking I reckon ) come across as the worst type of religious gob shâŚeâŚin MY experience.
Said experience of said type happen to be all white people.
Now apparently according to the enigmatic mind and logic of our very opinionated ââfriendââ âŚthat does not make me somebody who hates religion, who has a dislike for the type describedâŚbut it makes me a racistâŚ
(But his type in this country use that very serious accusation at the drop of a hatâŚusually to stifle a political argument.)
Add to the mix I am talking about white people and that I am white myself âŚI am apparentlly racist against white people âŚgo figure.
I do NOT HAVE to explain myself to said idiot, âŚbut by doing so, and to put it bluntly, the way I see it is this.
Showing him up as being totally ridiculous resulting in humiliation and him making a total fool of himself on here, is the forum type alternative method, equivalent and metaphor of knocking 7 shades of sh out of him
Score settled . âŚ
But he will no doubt return wielding his shovel to dig an even bigger hole for himselfâŚhe has to have the last word you know.
Been there, done that, which is why I didnât mention the ethenticity this time.
I will add they seem to love the transport industry, as long as they only have to steer forwards. No not Surry.
Which needs no comment.
You do not have to hate all of one group all the time to be racist.
If you steal money from a branch of the NatWest then is it a defence to being charged as a bank robber to say âWell, I never robbed Lloyds Bank , and I didnât rob all NatWest Branches, so I cannot be a bank robberâ
If you use race as a determinant, if race is relevant to your thinking, then you are racist.
You posted that you have a particular feeling, for a particular group,
that you defined by their racial characteristics.
What else could racism possibly be other than that?
You say you dislike all religions and also those who are gobby about religion.
By singling out one racially defined group of gobby religious types, you are being racist to that sub-group.
That you are part of that group? Is that a defence?
Why would it be?
Is racism a well thought out and logical thing? No.
So saying I cannot be racist because racism is not logical, is not any way to go.
Loads of people who think they are logical, who think they are not racist, who do not want to be racist, are in fact racist.
We may all try to be logical but none of us are perfectly so.
Well thatâs a firstâŚyou aint usually so silent.
So come on oh wise superior one.
SDU has put his cards on the table on his situationâŚ
So is HE in your authoriative opinion also a racist?
What about if I made an observation that statistically speaking the best athletes tend to be black because of certain genetic factors such as strength and endurance, but curiously enough it tends to be white athletes who prevail in swimming events, again presumably because of certain genetic attributes.
Did that make me racist in your opinion ?
No it doesnât.
We all know that women tend to have smaller bodies than men so we know that men will tend to be able to lift heavier weights than women.
That is a provable physical reality.
If I was choosing a sprint race team I would have a lot of black people in it.
But I wouldnât look at a personâs skin colour to choose the team, I would look at their 100m times, their waistline etc.
@robroy was talking about âwhite indigenous Englishâ having louder voices than others? I donât think they do they have the same vocal chords. He was judging them because they are âwhite indigenous Englishâ who change religion, because they are part of that âracialâ group.
If âwhite indigenous Englishâ is not the whole point, why mention it?
Why type out that phrase?
It is making a conscience effort to specify a racial group. What is that is not racism?
Unadultersted plonker.
Nothing to do with vocal chords. that is taking things entirely literally.
White indigenous EnglishâŚEnglish is the only language I fluently speak and understand you obtuse moronâŚthete may well be indigenous white Germans or Belgians who I would not understand.
Also Muslims yend to be of Eastern originâŚnot ehite people.
I was speaking from what I have found and observed
For once in yout miserable boring life just admit .itâŚ
It goes like this,âŚ
'âI may have been wrong after allâ.
It prevents you from coming across as a complete conceited prat
Itâs like everything else mate if somebody like you is either offended by or disagrees with somethingâŚ
THAT is when I know I am either right or doing something right.
On the other hand if I am proven wrong I am man enough to freely admit it âŚ
Answer my question instead of dodging it.
Is SDU a racist in your warped world?
Of course it isnât ! You donât care about the noise.
You are upset because it is âwhite indigenous Englishâ !
If you were from the left you would be using the phrase âclass traitorâ to describe Tories in manual jobs.
But because you care so much about race you see other âwhite indigenous Englishâ who think differently to you as being race traitors.
I donât care if SDU is a Saint or a goose-stepping fascist. !
I am talking about you and your attitude. If you look at race to make judgments then you are racist.
SDU is nothing to do with your attitude. Donât deflect.
TNUK is a site that allows the threads to fire off at tangents. This one has!
But what of the original subject?
Oh wellâŚ
Got it, SDU is your TN mateâŚ(nowt wrong with that btw, he seems a nice guy) where as I aintâŚ(never will be either btw glad to say.) nor nice either when I am crossed.
So I am firmly on your hate list.
Quite an honour is that in factâŚ, Iâm up there with Johnson, Farage, Robinson et all.
In good company btw.
You are a sad pathetic offensive but little insignificant person mate, with ideas way above your station, and I treat you on here with the contempt you bring on yourself, and what you deserve.
I sit here totally exonerated mate, safe in the knowledge it is only you of your dubious ilk, who has made those proven to be narrow minded misinterpreted accusationsâŚfrom the safety of your keyboard needless to say.
As for attacks âŚget a life, we are all supposed to be grown men , if you donât like attacks.dont bandy about words like âracistâ.
@star down underâŚlooks like you are off the hook mate.
Yes, I had kind of noticed that was your attitude.
GoodâŚmy work here is done.
We both know where we standâŚat last.
If I get kicked off the site for thisâŚso be it.
At least you will have a free hand at spouting your lefty woke and deluded crap âŚwith links.
Donât drag me into it, either of you. I think you both have made valid points, but also you have both made points with which I disagree. Thatâs fine, I can remain on friendly terms with people with whom I do not agree.
Thatâs a bit underwhelming, I was hoping for a few superlatives.
I wonât venture to far from said hook, Iâm sure to be back on that or another one soon.
My character has been described here with some very descriptive and expansive terminology.
Ever heard of UK politician Dennis Healey? Very interesting guy.
To misquote him:
âBeing attacked by @robroy is like being savaged by a dead sheepâ
