Thoughts for the Amazon driver in the wrong way Crash on M62.
On the railways, drivers get counselling for jumpers etc. Hopefully, Amazon will look after one of their own:

Tbh without knowing the full details and how it happend my honest thought is how do you not notice a car coming the wrong way and try to avoid it .
I’d hazard at a guess even at that time when it’s quiet ISH that other vehicles including other trucks may have previously avoided it. Was it also on the matrix signs saying oncoming vehicle with a speed restriction if it had previously been reported.
Unless if course it was a suicide attempt and the car deliberately drove into the path the truck took in avoidance.
Lots of questions and not many answers.
I passed this 10 mins before it happened on way to work Saturday morning,I past it westbound in the truck at 0430hrs,it looked like the Amazon driver had tried to avoid it but had nowhere to go as it was into the central reservation,I past it again later on in the daylight and I couldn’t work out the make of car it was so badly damaged,not heard anything else about the Amazon driver but I hope he’s ok…
He wasn’t one of their own in that not employed by Amazon or even one of their freight partners.(Not in a branded unit). But certainly hope he is ok all the same .
No new reports on the media that I can see. Daresay we will find out more when the Coroner’s Court is held.
As above, I hope the truck driver gets any help he needs.
Probably be given a fresh unit and told to crack on 
“You’re as good as you last run”
And he was late on that one!
