I have a SP30 that expires in 2026 and a CD10 that expires in 2027
My question is basically, should i wait until my endorsements expired in 2027 or should i do my HGV now so i can say i’ve held my HGV licence for 2 year effectively, as i’ve been told this could help when getting jobs?
Holding your licence doesnt mean you have 2 years experience. Most companies now want to see recent driving via the tacho card
Test the water before spending on a course. Call a couple,of companies and ask if you get your licence, would they consider you. Besides the new holder hurdle,due care and speed would prob not be good on their premiums, let alone letting you loose with their vehicles. Make a call and understand what you may be going into
