Many years ago, back in the day, I worked for a company in Eastbourne delivering electrical ‘stuff’ all around Kent, Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire. On the day I started they presented me with the keys to a brand new Leyland/Daf Road Runner (D281NOP, I believe) it was an awful thing to drive, but in the cab was a box of bits and bobs…a cap with the Daf logo, a couple of stickers, and…a travel bag. I’ve had it ever since, used it a couple of times for weekends away with the good lady, so it’s still in ‘more or less as new’ condition.
As per the post heading…they don’t make 'em like they used to…
