I was offered “Dunkin donuts” by a family who had stopped to dunk donuts on the hard shouler between Jnc 16 and Sandbach on the M6 
There’s no good un’s in there about the amount who just pull up for a good old “fumble” on the Hard shoulder, i suppose it’s Hard for a reason 
Or the [zb] who stopped just past the services, popped the passenger door open, hung their ■■■ out and “curled” one out on the kerb 
Last week i was on the M6 heading north and when i was crossing the border into Scotland a car was stopped on the hard shoulder just before the welcome to Scotland sign and the occupants were out taking photos of the sign !!

All and any driving tests should be in the country’s official language …

Two lanes are marked off with red 'x’s. We all drove for miles like plonkers in the third lane, complete with some TNT & Stobart tossers using the 4th lane to overtake, and then after getting to the potters bar junction - nothing was doing.

Took the Theory test (literally just finished) and am having 5 before I do the HP test. Talking to the examiner beforehand who said it’s only a recent thing but you have to complete all test in English now. Imagine that, our Government have been giving people licences who can’t make sense of any info on signs. No wonder we’re seen as a “kind, tolerant” country. The expectation was, I would think, that formerly, everyone would have integrated by learning English, and hopefully, come to understand local culture and embrace it. HAH!

last Thursday M42 south all 4 lanes open and a car on the H/S letting the child go to the loo! it was a live lane for gods sake.

Exactly but it is not just car drivers that are brainless morons as we can see by the red lorry.

“Part Time” hard shoulders have got to be the daftest idea since Voting Conservative to get high interest rates…
If someone uses the live lane as a hard shoulder for ANY reason, then there is obviously going to be a gap between the lane being closed and the incident first occuring. Plenty of time to get clouted by the next artic coming up over the brow of the hill in good faith…
Me? - I refuse to use the ■■■■ things. I treat lane 1 of a “part time hard shoulder” as if it’s a FULL time hard shoulder. Problem solved. Lives saved.
