After certain false allegations and insults towards the PDU and me personally posted on the TN Forum I went to RTM to insist on a right to reply to answer questions about the PDU
With it being a forum and with rules I thought it the best solution for anyone wanting to know more about the PDU
35 pages of in some cases disgusting postings, false accusations, lies, insults and even bringing up past sites that were a success but saying otherwise to justify making the PDU look bad.
It has damaged the PDU considerably in its reputation and good intent to try and help drivers.
I posted after 25 pages a summary so as to make clear after many questions (Seen in next post) but is has continued for another 10 pages of insult. Some of the content within is now in the Solicitors hands but they have damaged it so action would do little in getting a good name back.
The PDU will continue to try and help drivers and as seen a letter sent to the DfH in doing so, but I can state it will be far more difficult recruiting new members.
Anyone recognized as one of the abusers from TN will not be allowed on our group as unlike them I believe a civil manner keeps our group interesting for all who might read it.
Being in Solicitors hands I cannot say much more, but I wanted to inform and some of you may even have been reading or (involved) themselves.
To simply answer questions seems harder than I thought.
Just so all members are aware for their own information:
As far as user generated content the Defamation Act 2013 and in particular section 5 applies. In short this means that the poster is liable for their posted content and the website owners are protected by section 5 of the Act.

E8B totally agree - I have no malic towards either or, but don’t think this went anywhere near how it could have even with the disputes which have occurred previously.
having seen the numbers I am now more aware of the reluctance to state them what I will say is if the numbers are true Barrie is a long long long way from any retirement pot of gold on either of the joining fee’s he has been quoted at.

The only thing left to answer is why would someone wish to appear so under prepared with their answers or lack of.
I will also repeat newmercman’s earlier post as well…

I commented earlier that I thought Barry Tozer was getting a bit of a hard ride, however I hadn’t, as I said, read all the thread. Now I have and position has changed somewhat.
If you post a Q&A thread and don’t A the Qs then I would expect a certain amount of people will begin to doubt your integrity.
This thread absolutely highlights why the previous endeavors of the PD whatever it is called at any given time has failed miserably.
Barry, you’re clearly out of your depth and you obviously lack the skills necessary to debate, so how on earth do you expect to lobby for better conditions for anybody foolish enough to join your posse?
You also appear to be completely inflexible in what you are going to campaign against, instead of taking suggestions from potential members on board.
I bet you wish you could turn back the clock! Even to the point of not antagonizing the moderators so that this thread could be pulled and become old news and forgotten in a few days. But here it is for everybody on the largest forum for lorry drivers to read. Oh dear…

He asked for a Q&A session by making an anonymous complaint to HQ on TNUK which he then broadcast on the net on a open public platform which owns the copyright for what is written. He did so whilst defaming the man behind TNUK, whom has been professional through out this sorry thread.
He is shown HIS websites which contradict what he has written on here.
He then gets asked questions to engage him in conversation which is then met with “im ignoring you”
