that was his very first post, and he asked for questions. He got them, but then I got ■■■■■■ off because he wouldn’t answer them, so I kept at him. It wasn’t “bullying”, it wasn’t “mob mentality”, and it certainly wasn’t concerted. I was trying to get honest answers (as were others), and all I got was insults, and now he’s blocked me.
I hope he doesn’t think that means that nobody else can see my posts

What’s to stop those you don’t want knowing paying a fiver and finding out?

It would be hoped those joining want the PDU to succeed and so help it.
I “request” they do not release the numbers and the reason why, if anyone was so low then not much I can do about it, it is called trust

NOK cards- failed another group provided them for free
Theft text alert - failed no organisation would back it the DFT has serious reservations about LGV drivers receiving texts when driving
Truckers Club - failed- Barry claims it is a success, if so why isn’t it still running, fact is it never covered its costs
and my favourite the £100 DCPC- failed due to his figures simply not adding up and it being totally impossible to achieve

I do support truckers in their quest for decent conditions etc, but I aint going to pay £5 to someone when it would not benefit me one little bit. Would rather give a tenner to the cat protection league … and I hate cats !!

Unlike our unions the PDU will act not just talk.
never guarantee a success but at least we will try and members are doing their bit to take it forward

Lets be honest - do you agree these are all your projects that you, Barry Tozer have created and promoted? I haven’t just plucked them out of thin air? - they all have undoubtably failed as none exist any more or are not functioning in any meaningful way .I have asked you a number of times to tell us why these failed and who is too blame, but you seem to be avoiding the question. so please if you disagree, one by one of the above projects of yours, which succeeded and are still going strong, and which ones died a death, why did they die and whose fault was it? Now is your chance to show that you have as you said “learnt by your mistakes”

Ok , lets not get hung up on a sticking point then, lets move on. Changing the structure and plan from no one on a wage of more than 35K, and lobbyists to get expenses. I understand that was with planned subscriptions of £25, so to radically change to a subscription of £5 and no wages for anyone, or no expenses either ? ,not sure if that point has been clarified, but any how thats a radical upheaval and shift in plan. Can you talk us through it a little bit just what these changes have meant, been, implemented ? Or in other words, just explain the practial changes it has meant having a vastly reduced subscription?
