The reason a lot of trucks leave the grill up in hot countries Betz, is so the engine cools down a bit quicker so not so much heat comes up thru the engine cover, thus helping to cool the inside of the truck quicker.
couple more mate. first up, russian registered craptros with a german trailer, i couldnt be bothered to get the tripod out so its a little shakey (i was tired and heading for my bed when i stopped!!) it was at the catalan village services, just into france from spain
and some turkish volvos from when i parked up at the services overlooking monaco (i forget their name, but great views!)

This would suggest Euromat,that Dafs DO look good with them?Tut tut 
what i don’t understand is how the small cabbed actros will probably have 2 drivers yet the megaspace like the italian will probably only have 1.
the megaspace ones in spain only have 1 driver maybe only the small cabs are for the brokeback mountain brigade?
