Hi there, I loved the TESCO F7 i worked for them for years, we had ROADTRAINS and then SCANIAS. The F7 were from MILTON KEYNES depot i think? The photo looks like the old Wisbeach town center shop back door, i only did that one once with a Roadtrain and 8 metre trailer.

wow what memories, my 1st proper wagon (after graduating from an ERF rigid) was an X reg F7. on locals mainly ,with the odd night out, for Bergen Transport, Trafford park i had 6 great years with them, mostly on “boxes”, bit of good old rope n sheet, and some over the water too (not in the F7 tho), I loved that motor it felt like a proper truck, and I felt like “king o the road” trundling up n down the “62” to Seaforth n back

this is a f6 with a f7 cab

did my first trip over the water with an f7 for john dee transport ferryhill great motor but it got written of when i was on holliday? got a ford cargo bit embaresing getting on ferry with that motor      .

I worked for Cannons of Milton in the 80s, we had about 8 of them. My old girl was VAA 197V, I was on general, but we were into everything, PFA Tankers in/out Didcot Power Station, Coal up from South Wales in Bulkers, Tauts, Flats, Low Loader machines for ARC Sutton Courtney, regular run was paint/chemicals etc from Glasurit, Abingdon up to Leeds (Charthire Depot) tip 1st thing in morning, another drop or 2 Liverpool/Bolton? then backload Oil from Shell at either Trafford Park or Stanlow for Milton, Oxon. My old F7 took me everywhere, up Scotch all over, as said she could have done with a few more ponies but she never gave up, nice comfy ride as well & good bed surprisingly spacious as well for other activities (Oh come on, we all get lonely!). I got some good photos of her, when I can figure out how to put them on here I will. Have to ask “The Dark Side”, she good at that sort of thing.
