gazzer:
The little chassis cab thing is a UNIC/Renault thing but I couldn’t tell you the actual model

Thanks Gazza, defeated me,never seen anything like it before, dumped outside the IPO (MOT) station, presumably failed so just left it there!!!

0Both of these parked up,again, wouldn’t take much for them to get up and go!

Ideal people smugglers them, as seen in all good Austrian laybys

This was sitting in the undergrowth at Bruntingthorpe today - I think it is an AEC AV760 or am I totally wrong,

I don’t know the build code but thought these were known as moguls like the one steve butler of ferndown dorset runs

Some more of the AEC:

Is this the former Econofrieght Scammell S24? It is in a bit of a poor state, but it could be repaired!

Looks to be some interesting stuff at Bruntingthorpe, great pics

Ive got more pics but it seems to take ages for them to attach on here.

I found about 5 or 6 of the Leyland Landtrain tippers that were used in the Falklands there too, as well as old Maggie Deutz rigids and a former Walls Truck Services Scammell wrecker.

Next time I go I will take some secaturs and a bush saw so I can get into the deeper undergrowth to see what is there.

Here’s a better pic of the C series Dan.
Looks like they just got it. Will be a shame if they use it as a dock shunter.

That’s criminal to use that ,I’ve been there last yr and seen them in action ,i think i’ll ring them to see if it’s a 14 litre and try and get it a reprieve .

She’s better in red .

…and another!..anyone any clues as to what it is■■?

Definitely a Renault/Saviem. With its twin rear wheels, probably a SG3 or SG4. That very popular little lorry was produced in France 1965-82 approximatively. The plastic radiator grille makes it one of the latest models.

The Czech Avia continued to produce it until quite recently, and I think the Romanians used the license too.

They wont sell that motor mate if that was what you were thinking, as they run another 3 or 4 and
use it for spares.
