just gone back through some of me old posts & none of my pictures are “uploading” from photobucket!
Mr B:
the new forum looks good. i’ve uploaded several pics but can’t figure out how to edit or post comments on them
Go to the Gallery then go to “Your Personal Album”, directly underneath the image look for the word “Moderate”, this is a link and by clicking it you will be able to edit or delete the image.
To add a comment on someone’s image, in “Gallery” look underneath an image and you will see the word “Comment” this is a link and by clicking it you will be able to leave a comment, have to say I haven’t tried it yet though
Some of the links in these features aren’t too obvious and so may be missed until people get used to them
Hope this helps.

The reason your images are not showing is because you’ve posted the links as HTML, if you edit the posts and use the image tags rather than the HTML tags the images will show, this site no longer has HTML enabled
For instance one of your image links here is
<a href="http://s213.photobucket.com/albums/cc118/jackson7138/?action=view¤t=PICT0002.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc118/jackson7138/PICT0002.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
It should be

SadMike:
Rogers scrolly things don’t work in firefox, they just show the code
That’s because they are HTML and HTML doesn’t work on this board. It isn’t a Firefox thing, it will be the same with any browser.
it may same funny but who are Google [Bot ] and yahoo [Bot ] in the registered users bit

The site looks good and has some good new features
One thing I really don’t like though is the advertising frame on the right hand side of the page, it’s screwing up the entire page and wasting mega amounts of screen space imo
When you look at “New Posts” the fields for “Views” “Replies” and “Last Post” could be considerably narrower and if the advertising frame was moved the whole page would probably look cleaner and more easily readable.
Sorry for the criticism on what is a generally great forum upgrade, but this is after all the Feedback forum
Is anyone else seeing a random dark grey box which seems to appear with no obvious logic of you let your mouse rest on a post too long? Highly irritating.

Yep I am and it kind of jumps about
That’s the one Pam. Mine’s jumping too.
Any chance of upgrading the server clock to one that works?
Me too, and very irritating but apart from that it all looks very good

Not seeing that in Firefox
personally I found the old format 100% easier to read and use, do not like this one. Also I can now only view half a page when looking through the threads in Old Time Lorries, note on one thread I am posting on someone else has said the same, can only see half the picture.
I like that I can hover over a topic and a text balloon shows the initial content
I don’t like that I can no longer click on “view topics since your last visit” (my wording may be wrong)
Obviously a lot of hard work and long hours have gone into this upgrade with a lot of necessary changes behind the scenes, well done and thank you
If I page back with the arrow in IE the previous screen has timed out, I get the gray box too.
Lots of little gremlins in there for a while yet but an excellent upgrade.
Well done to all concerned.
Stu
The new format seems to descriminate on some foto links (foto not displayed) and those that are cannot be seen fully due to size limitations of the displayed forum box on the thread. The advertising column on the right has cut down the viewing area. Is there something I can do to improve this?

Or Google Chrome either
If you view the “OLD TIME LORRIES, COMPANIES AND DRIVERS (INTERACTIVE)” forum with IE 7 the “Davies Int. Southampton. With photos.” thread doesn’t show the title, it’s OK in Firefox 3 but it’s not right in Internet Explorer 7.
That thread shows the same way in IE6.
