As an avide spotter of 13 years this year, I’m the first to stand up and support Stobarts on everything they do.
But, in this case, I don’t support them.
But, its not just Stobarts to blaim, Tesco’s are too.
And also, Stobarts aren’t the only one doing this. DHL, Wincanton, ND Group and many more do this too.
But, I personally belive, that Stobarts should be setting an example to the industry and shouldn’t be making redundacies like this
I just hope the Unite Union & Stobarts came come to a deal whcih saves the drivers jobs

Excelent spot and photo marra.
Connie is a Hybrid Volvo FE that is based out of Crick. There currently only one in the fleet but I belive there is talks of more entering the fleet
Aswell as you, I’ve never seen it either

what type of work is this unit used for?

The Volvo FE is used on urban deliveries mainly for Tesco. It also does deliveries for customers who want to used ESL and need a smaller lorry for the delivery

Thats a super spot marra. The Scania R Toplines are based at Didcot (within Pirelli Tyres)
There are 15 black Scanias (all based at Didcot), and they do work on General Haulage after the F1 season is over
