Hello dew
Thankyou for that excelent photo marra. Yes, thats the sister lorry.
There are 4 new 2012 reg Scania R Toplines, regs are:
PX12 NZB
PX12 NZA
PN12 VOC
PN12 VOD
All are based at Warrington. The only one of the rally trucks to be based in ■■■■■■■ is PX11 NEV, Scania R500 Topline 6 x 2 (Neville’s wagon)
PX11 NEV is based at Carlisle
And your right dew, they do fridge work and chipliner work when the rally work is quite.
Kindest regards

Spotted **60 CZB Deborah something or another this morning @ 09.30 local time on the E40 @ Middelkerke heading towards Brugge (Belgium).
Then I followed **62 CCZ @ 09.45 on the N370 between Jnc.10 E40 & Wingene (Belgium). Strange to see this one driving through the town where I live…

Hello Goeffo
Thankyou for your post marra
PX62 CCZ is called Emily Harriot and is a Scania R Series 6 x 2 Stobart Biomass lorry. Its based out of Aveley.
PX60 CZB is (your right) Deborah Channon and is another Scania R Series 6 x 2 Stobart Biomass lorry, also based at Aveley.
Two excelent spots marra and very rare in Belgium. Useally, only the International Chipliners go over to Belgium with the Scania R Topline 4 x 2 low ride tractor units.
I hope this helps marra
Kindest regards

Hello Geoffo
Thankyou for your post marra.
I was told Stobart Biomass has a supplier of wood chips in Belgium, which I was told are brought to Lockerbie for the E.ON power station.
It could also be because they are delivering biomass products to a Beglium farm or company.
But, all the drivers and Lorries are based in the UK as they don’t keep any Biomass trailers outside of the UK (except the International Chipliners)
Bases for Stobart Biomass lorries are:
Carlisle
Lockerbie
Aveley
Warrington
Appleton
Sherburn
Penrith
& Widnes
Thankyou for the spots marra
Kindest regards

No they’re all Stobart fleet motors and the drivers are all on Stobarts books. The photos are from a few years of visits to Spain, so the trucks were new (or a year old) at the time. The truck drivers got used as chefs, hospitality, security and general handimen around the service park during the course of the rally

No, not all of them. PX11 NEV (Neviles Scania R Topline: H0005) is based at Carlisle and the others (H0006, H0007,H0008,H0009) are all based at Hawleys Lane, Warrington.
These are all run by Stobarts
Stobarts own the other low numbers up to H023. These are H006 & H011.
Fleet numbers H023 up to H200 are owned by subbies. Most are owned by Ed Brewer of Penrith.
G Stobbart, Phillip Wood & Dalton’s Transport are a few
Hope this helps marra

Hello kevchalluk
Are you sure marra? Stobarts own those rally lorries themselves. There not subbies, although they do get subbies to help out of the rally work.
I know this after talking to Nevile Jackson and one of the other rally drivers
But your right about the hospitality part.
Kindest regards

Theres no nedd to apologise Frank marra. No offence taken
Yes, I too saw that TV coverage on ES~T&T where they seemed to be doing the dirty work for the rally bosses
No the sort of job I’d like to do
I see. I’m sorry that they made you reduntant. Please understand that they sometimes do things which I don’t always agree with.
Stobarts still run a transport depot in Barrow don’t they? I think they run 15 lorries out of McBrides Soap Factory don’t they?
Kindest regards
