I see them quite regular on Kingstown, there’s usually at least one parked right outside the depot, thanks to the new Bypass you now run right past the enterance.

Hello dew
Thankyou for that interesting post marra. Many thanks
I didn’t realise that Stobarts keep one at Carlisle. I though they where all Widnes Based trailers.
Kindest Regards

P.S The view of the HQ from the Bypass is excelent.
There’s gotta be more than one at Carlisle, as I said it’s a regular thing.
Also, as you seem to be the guy in the know, any idea how many MAN’s are currently in the Stobart fleet? I have a feeling it’s more than the 7 DAF’s they’ve got, yet still seems far less than the Scania/Volvo options.

Hello dew
Thankyou for your interesting post. Many thanks marra.
There are about 10 MAN’s in the Stobart fleet if you include the 7.5 & 18 ton rigid ones they have. But, out of the 10, only 5 are artics, which most (like the DAFs) been run by subbies. The Stobart MAN Artics I’ve seen are always on Tesco work, but I have seen one on fridge work.
As for the rigids, they seem to be on town drops and doing work out of London Southend Airport
Kindest regards
