As for the names above the door, there is only 200 Lorries like this in the fleet. This is because when the new Scania R’s came in, they had a smaller grill, which restricted the size of the name they could put on. So, William Stobart came up with the idea of still putting it on the grill, but placing a larger name on the sides of the cab. The idea was dropped after about 1,000 spotters complained.
Personally, I’ve only ever see 3 of these, all of them pulling Tesco trailers and been Scania G Cabs
