The cost is high, there is no denying that, factor in the JAUPT fees, the cost of hiring a centre and paying the staff, its not going to be cheap
Where the hell does he get this from
It cost £1.25 to enter each Drivers hours on the database.
A classroom, less than £100 to hire for the day
Instructor lets say £100 for 8hrs
Total for 30 Drivers = £275
Income at £99 per driver = £2970
Profit a staggering = £2695
Approval of a centre to deliver Periodic Training for a period of 5 years - £1500
Approval of a course as Periodic Training for a period of 1 year - £36 per hour
Re-approval of a course as Periodic Training for a period of 1 year - £36 per hour
This means a 7 hour course will cost £252 or a 14 hour course will cost £504
plus the upload fee of 1.25 per hour
and you would not be able to hire an office on a daily bases as the training centre as to be approved
and i thing you will find there is a limit to the number of trainees in the class 21 per class max and that would depend on what as been some courses only have 2 trainees and the most i have see is 21
and i not been funny be if you are in business would that not be the point be to make a profit
This means a 7 hour course will cost £252
Fair enough take this of the staggering profit
plus the upload fee of 1.25 per hour
already in the sums I posted
and you would not be able to hire an office on a daily bases as the training centre as to be approved
This applies to the approved training centre not the specific classroom used, doh
and i thing you will find there is a limit to the number of trainees in the class 21 per class max and that would depend on what as been some courses only have 2 trainees and the most i have see is 21
Not sure how you could have seen this, as there are no courses allowed until September, so a lot of waffle to try and justify a load of wrong facts.

If you mean the max number for a class then it seems it is 20 according to the RHA - see link below
rha.uk.net/training/HXNO@T/OLVEQJ/GPGAPJ
The FTA seems to max at 16 per course fta.co.uk/assets/files/drive … ing-09.pdf
Always worth asking if the upload fee and VAT are included in the price.

‘…and i would like to point out that the Driver cpc in and as been up and runing since sept 2008 for PSV…’
Thinks to self: Hmmm …Glad that I took the decision of taking C+E over PSV to avoid wiping-up sick and pansying after horrible citizens - and am now extra glad that I did…
