If the zb’s couldn’t make it across the channel to get us or get further than Moscow when they tried to invade Russia there’s no way they could have made it across the Atlantic after losing most of their navy except a few submarines and then get across the states from coast to coast let alone Canada as well.Don’t forget the US civilian public and the national guard was probably better armed than the German army and a Tiger tank couldn’t get that far on a US gallon. 
Seriously though the US actually paid in blood to help liberate Europe from the Nazis.
