Mmmmm, I replied via Android phone a few mins ago but it still ain’t showing!!

I think there is an issue with stickies and announcements (unless you’ve set it up this way).

I have posted a reply to a topic in the PDF via Tapatalk even though my original reply to this thread didn’t show. When I browse through TNET via Tapatalk, none of the stickies and announcements show. Maybe that’s the reason the reply didn’t work although using the full title in the search facility did find this ‘announcement’.

‘Invalid Topic ID’ is what I got when trying to reply to here via Tapatalk.

Overall I’d say it’s still a good thing as it seems most of the forum can be accessed via a phone. I have looked in on here via my phones ‘normal’ web browser but it is a bit of a PITA, what with either very small text or enlarging the view but then only seeing a bit of the page at a time.

Nokia E63 users - Sadly this isn’t compatible at the moment. :frowning:

Sorry, forgot to mention - I’m using a HTC Desire with the Android platform.

I’m not going to fall for that one, even if it is compatible with my phone.
I spend to much time online as it is during the week. If I spend time in here too, I’d be awake from Sunday morning through to Thursday evening :open_mouth: << Match sticks keeping them open

Free version works fine but don’t like having to pay to reply!

Love this app no need to fire up my laptop works well with the ipod touch running 4.0 using mifi to get internet

Thanks for that very comprehensive explanation of what , whatever it is , is all about Rikki.  At first I thought “Ooohh!! That looks interesting”; But sadly I soon discovered that it might as well have been written in Serbo-Croat.  I could not understand a word of it. I,m sort of Techno-Dyslexic.

Well if it’s any help, here it is in Serb-Croat (and it ain’t a Google Translate bodge-job neither!!).

Tapatalk je forum aplikacija za mobilne telefone za Ifone / Android i uskoro Blakberi i Nokia. Tapatalk podrzava vBulletin (3.x and 4.x) i phpBB forum vlasnik moze aktivirati ovu uslugu za dzabe. Tapatalk podrzava sve ostale forum funkcije, plus sliku cjelog ekrana, ubacivanje slika i imidza, memorisanje, privatne poruke, sve ove aplikacije su moguce kroz samo par tipki.

Can you understand it better now??

The only thing I don’t like about this app so far is that Stickies and Announcements are deemed to be ‘invalid links’. :unamused:

Thanks very much for that Mr.  Tandy. Please pass on my thanks to your Good Lady wife.

I use TouchBB and it works very well, just an idea (From a newbie…lol).

(DOES NOT WORK ON THIS FORUM AS SCRIPT NEEDS INSTALLING!)

I can post some screenshots but it only works so far on another trucking forum…

I doubled checked - I was logged-in but I logged-out and re-logged-in; still no difference.

I can see stickies but not ‘Announcements’, not in any of the viewing options. I can find this thread using the search facility but if I try to reply (via Tapatalk) I get an error message ‘Invalid Topic ID’. It’s frustrating but not the end of the world; I can still post to other parts of the forums.

Did you download the free version or the Pro (paid for) version?

What phone are you trying to use? Did you see the section on the Tapatalk website that mentions a certain few phones that are either not compatible or have known issues?

the version in your link didnt work on my nokia x6 :frowning: but the tapatalk version from OVI.com works fine and its also free of charge and you read/post with it.

My N97 kept asking me to install the application which i eventually did - problem being it only works when it wants - i spoke to Vodafone and it seems you have to have a new type sim card - which has been ordered - to connect to the internet better
i hope it works - i will post back
When its working its great and very fast on 2 g and super fast on 3g
cheers
