No not particularly, Nabq Bay in Sharm el Sheikh. It was fantastic. All inclusive so didn’t need to spend much but we did still choose to venture out and can confirm it’s still absolutely cheap as chips. We had two large pizzas and eight drinks in a restaurant for less than £10

Do you not get paid for the first 3 days sick?Only SSP for first three days then full pay afterwards.
Just means if you go off fir a day you might aswell go for a week. Every six month period.
Allegedly
Reason I ask is that statutory government ssp doesn’t take effect till day 4 so those 3 days must be funded by Tesco
I thought the way SSP worked was that you didn’t get it the first six days of sickness, you got standard pay instead. (SSP is rubbish by comparison to even Minimum Wage Pay - Right?)
This meant that few people would ever take more than six days, unless they were actually ill enough to be hospitalized, because of the DROP in pay that went with such a longer absence?

You did well to get it that cheap… Sinai Penninsular - is the most expensive part of Egypt for “Eating Out” even dearer than Hurghada on the opposite coast where I went as an “Excursion” (from Luxor) rather than staying outright at this resort.
“Hotel Rates” for one-night stays are at a floating rate payable in USD - Turn up at 18:00 to book a room currently vacant - and you may get the room for $10-$20 then and there… (I always carry some USD cash money about with me as a tourist, despite the fact I’ve never crossed the atlantic in my travels - ever!)
