depends on start times. i only do from noon to 6pm starts, been in there for over 5 years agency. only 5 minutes from home
they may give you a unit to run out of Lichfield… looking at least 9 hour shift maybe. And all trucks limited to 80kph
But if from Hinckley usually 2 runs in Midlands. or maybe 4 stores on 1 trailer. I usually do between 7 to 10 on a shift
now drivers assist the unload of RSU at nobbys across the road
but they take 45 break off at most expensive part of shift i.e start Saturday 2pm finish Sunday 00.45 you don’t get Sunday rate
ADR are main agency but give work out. And most of the tescos drivers are helpful
Go elsewhere if you have the choice, always avoid tesco at all costs, horrible place to work especially on Agy…

what it is.RSU■■?
SOME TIME I DO FROM Stobart Tesco delivery from Lichfield.if work from Hinckley, you as well taked cages with plastic and cardboard from shop to CDC■■?
If the job was any good then the driver wouldn’t have to offload anything, be it RSU, store, customer etc…
Did a couple of shifts there last year & not very enjoyable. Cliquey place, even amongst long-term agency. Lot of waiting around so fine if you’re happy sitting getting paid, but if you prefer to drive then don’t bother.

they should be taking your break out after 5hrs of work. see union
What union, they’re useless, are you paying them subs on Agy…?
Drive, Lutterworth isn’t that far from Hinckley, with so many outfits in there surely you can find better than tesco can you not…!?
for tesco Hincley agency asc just 6 month expirience.i hold licence 19 month .to many company wont if hold licence at least 2 years.some agency sent me to driving assestment in Magna park2 time.this instruktor dont ask i was driving 18 month or just one day.just said must HOLD LICENCE 2 YEARS.
Depends what you want or like, it’s not for me, but then everyone is different…
On 2 different days there, i waited in the drivers room for about 2hrs, 1 day was told, " your off to Cambridge " , next day was a Brum multi, not fussed either way but, turn up for work, sit around for 2hrs then be expected to put a shift in not for me
I know its all hourly pay and all that but like i say, its not for me, but might be for someone else…
Hinckley DC is only 10 minutes walk from my house. shifts suit me. And it’s not exactly hard work wheeling cages off a trailer is it?
And PD they got rid of day cabs years ago
And I do have other work in the area all within 10 miles of me.
Also agency work suits me.

It’s not hard work, wouldn’t you rather be sat in your cab sipping something hot with your feet up worrying about more important things than the job & leaving the lazy bar stewards in the back to get on with it-I know I would…?!
Replaced day cabs with more sheds, brilliant thinking that mr tesco…#idiots
