Getting mixed messages about this one… are they open for food as normal or not. Even their web site is a bit vague…
Nobody is open for food as normal until May. They may be doing a take out service like Penrith does.

Does this apply to service areas?
Reason I ask is last week Wetherby was quite full of people eating indoors and Trowell had a few eating inside too,I’m not convinced service areas come into it as I’ve seen the Highways England traffic guys sat in Woodhall supping brews too, have a look round next time you go into a service area, apart from the masks everything seems to be business as usual.
“Mixed messages” is unfortunately true.

There is a need to change rules as a situation changes and new information is available. But there is a need for clear communication too, and this hasn’t been happening.
