Just seen on the morning news that the Trans Canada Highway is closed at Canmore AB due to flooding.

Looking pretty bad down in southern alberta.

Pretty ■■■■ bad along there with the road works anyway at the moment.

I left Calgary last night, that storm was off its head. Never seen rain like it, even the Texas storms I’ve been in were mild in comparison. It was like being in a car wash ffs.

The farmers will be rubbing their hands together, there will be a boatload of new F350s sold when the crop damage insurance pays out in a month or so. Just in time for the 2014 models…kerching…

I was parked at the roadkill there last night the thunder woke me up so opened the curtains and watched the lightening for 30 mins was an awesome sight never see that back home

A taffy that hasn’t seen thunder & lightning? I take it you were down the mines then :open_mouth:

Highway 1 at Carrot Creek washed out, no estimate on when it will re-open due to scale of damage. I guess hwy16 is going to be a lot busier now.

Downtown Calgary. and the rivers still rising.
