Tankwash

Hi all,

I’m looking for tankwash sites in the Wellingborough, NE London and Nottingham/Leicester areas that can do internal and top washes on a bulk powder tank.

Anyone know of any firms that do this?

NE London = South Eastern Tanker Services (SETS) in Dagenham or LPW in Silvertown, and there are a couple more in that area.

I never have known any tanker cleaning (for Silo) in Wellingborough or Nottingham area, but of course that doesn’t mean that there are non in that area.

I think (reading Treasure’s website ) … they only do CIP washes for food tankers … so they probably don’t have the spinners to go in the tank.
From my days @ Patterson’s … i can’t think of a wash near Wellingboro’ … used to run to S.E.T.S ( or go to V.D.B. @ Purfleet and do a self-wash :sunglasses: ).

Reg Morris … now that’s a blast from the past  … seem to remember you had to be careful entering / exiting in as access to yard was on a bend

tankwash - purfleet -and one behind volvo in thurruck-t/w felixstowe dock rd t/w haden rd hull h p freightways all with cafes but not 24 hr

Also depends on product carried, a lot of silos can be washed with a good brush or a hose if you can get a certificate.

An alternative is Fleetclean in Knottingley or a cheeky question in PDM Hartshill. I have washed out in John Knights before so maybe PDM have a spinner

Many thanks for all the suggestions!
