tanker companies

Hi Wheel Nut,
Not quite as smart to look at! As good employer?

Another one of the Lynch fleet taken at the Sandbach festival today.

Taken today whilst making a delivery of oil to the Sunlight Laundry in Mossley Tameside.

An eclectic mix of road and rail tankers. American. Dutch. English and mucho Scotland. opens as slide show. about 1000 pictures, some seen some not. A very good display of old Wim Vos drivers and lorries

Now I remember,it was Shirleys Transport from Cellarhead.
Edwin Shirley Trucking was the pop group remover-still going I think.

Hiya chris …Shirleys.this would be a fair motor in your day.I remember her well when new but look what time has done to her.

Shirleys Cellerhead.

Apologies if someone has already posted this – (21 pages!!) but this F88 is just a chassis now…

I am surprised no one has snapped up the old Shirleys F86 just for the tanker barrel. It needs to go on a traditional chassis of the era, but I doubt the barrel will be in a bad condition.

Or is Arthur still hanging onto everything? Some of those motors were in the yard when I cleaned out in about 1990

I don’t know what was there - but stuff has been cleared recently, I am told.
