Hi All
A driver has just asked me whether being on the channel tunnel would be classed as a break? i.e. can he take his rest period whilst he is onboard the shuttle
Strange question but I’m sure someone can answer it for me
Cheers

REST or BREAK ?
Break = deffo yes
I always have a break on there. Time you park on it, wait for the pongo express bus, get to the carriage and park your arse, do the trip, repeat the aforementioned. Break over!
Yup, it usually tot’s up to around 50-55mins from parking on train to starting to drive off ,unless their are problems of course and when you add that to the time spent in the lanes waiting to get on the train 1-2hrs it would of been quicker on the ferry
No reason why not after all your not working
