Where do you put your employee card?
Quinny:
Better off writing to the CEO of the company, and ask him if this is a universal company policy, and asking him if he would be so kind as to look into it for you. While he won’t personally, he might get one of his minions to do so.Ken.
and his email address is here ceoemail.com/se.php?id=9138
BAD publicity works!!!
The signs disappeared.A lesson for us all maybe?

Good news, sad though that everyone jumps on Tesco when the catering is in fact run by contractors and the probable scenario would have involved a Tesco manager getting the sign removed.
Widnes RDC today, all the machines are out of order for coin payers, not sure wheather canteen can be used and had to sit there like a lemon for nearly 3 hrs, yes coffee and tea provided free but as I dont drink either thats not really fair.

If I get the evidence, not just hearsay then yes, so photo’s guys, without that we don’t have a lot to go on
According to the site rules and blurb, TruckNetUK is not a campaigning site. Have I missed a change somewhere?
The newer depots aren’t to bad (Widnes/avonmouth ) in as much as there is a vending machine selling sandwiches and fruit at a reasonable price shame they can’t restock them more often especially the 70p cheese & onion . Harlow also has the vending machines
The turn around at these depots is normally within the hour stated by tescos spokesperson BUT didcot is another matter entirely
2 hours is the average time for us and there are not enough chairs for the amount of drivers waiting
I can only comment on the ones I’ve been to in the last few months but hinkley had sandwich’s the last time I was there in January
Hope something can come out this but i wont hold my breath,
places like tesco want 3rd party labour to get there delliverys out.Because they wont want enough full time staff on the books ,but they dont want to give us the any the tiny benifits !

No just looking to see if theres a valid story there for the magazines, if those stories do happen and make a difference, then the jobs a good un, and we do run campaigns and even now support campaigns such as the fair fuel campaign, what we don’t do is jump on every band wagon or ill thought out campaign without checking out its viability first, a little thing called due diligence.
@Rikki-UK who’s side are you on exactly…■■?
He’s on our side, of course. It’s just that he has to use a bit more common sense than the rest of us loonies!
The security bod at tesco goole has a temporary tesco card that you can use to get drinks/ food etc,you just give him your details and keys( you’ll need a spare set if you’ve handed yours in) and then get a meal or drink then take card back and get keys back.
Not sure if all security bods have temporary cards at all tesco sites but if your desperate for a meal it might be worth asking.
When I’ve left my tesco card at home I’ve used this option on a few occasions to get a meal/drink
Long delays at Reading Tesco today.
Malcolms told me they had a driver still waiting to tip but he’d had tea and sarnies brought out to him.
Now that’s not bad
