I then booked vehicle of defected taco. So what should i of done .

What i did . Driven from ■■ for 430 mins then taken a break knowing 30 15 is ilegal Or driven from start of day 430 then break Over to you.

Not this, it’s not defective, it’s just wrong. The digi tacho still works to the old rules and any combination of 2 or 3 breaks, or POA, of at least 15 minutes will reset the driving time counter. It’s not a defect as such and can’t be fixed.
The old digi tachos will accept 25 then a 20 min break or any combination as long as its over 15, then clear your driving, but the new ones will only clear after a 15 and a 30, well mine will only accept that.
