Tachograph

Hi, I am rather new here. We have purchased a brand new IVECO 7.2t and I understand the tachograph must be calibrated every 2 years. The dealer has not given us the original certificate for the tachograph calibration.
My questions are:

  1. What documents shall we ask for for a brand new truck
  2. Shall we be asking for a Tachograph Calibration Certificate if it’s brand new or any other certificate?
    Thank you.

Look on drivers door Pilar there should be a calibration sticker there with date it was done and needs to be redone

Request a copy of the certificate from the dealer

Whether it’s a shiny new motor or used, a calibration certificate is used for the tacho. The sticker in/ on the vehicle is just a reminder / info sticker. If that is present then there was also a certificate issued.
Chase the dealer to get the original. They’re just being lazy now they have your money

Thank you.

What other documents I should ask for? I don’t want to miss anything.
