I have recently signed up to an agency and they require me to sit a tachograph test when my digi-card arrives, I have received my digi-card now and i am due to sit this test having not long passed my theory and cpc I’m fairly up to date with certain aspects of the tachograph but I’m not sure what this test will entail has anyone sat this test that has any advice.
The agency is the best connection in Telford if that helps
any help would be most appreciated thanks
They will give you a few scenario’s that will almost certainly include a 52hr week with at least 3x ferry crossings (a 3hr, a 6hr + a 12hr), 2 split weekly rests of which 1 will be reduced and then ask you that complete a print out manually to reflect the above.
Relax, it’s a piece of cake if you’ve not long since passed your theory.

Perhaps you have led a sheltered life then Rog.
Most agency questionnaire’s are BS. My answer to the Op’s post is BS. Can you imagine a reality where the Op’s question is BS also?
Most of us make ourselve’s familiar with the rules that govern our average & desired work pattern Rog, I work Mon to Fri averaging 8hrs daily. What need have I to understand what’s legal when doing transcontinental tramping that might involve 3x ferry crossings, 2 split weekly rests & at least 1 reduced break whilst parked at base?
I understand that you don’t work at all these days Rog, is that why you find yourself with too much time on your hands ?

Well that’s helpful to the OP. if you’re going to be a ■■■■, why bother posting?
To Kyle2643, the agency tests are a piece of cake. Just standard Tacho Law. If you’ve recently done your Theory etc, just have a quick brush up and you’ll fly through.

To help out Kyle2643 with his perfectly reasonable question.
I did one last week for best connections standard stuff really do a manual recording on a blank tacho etc, doubt you will fail though if you have arms legs and a licence you pass
