Hey all :slight_smile:

Quick question, I should probably know but can’t remember. If I was to drive a vehicle with a digi tacho but I don’t have a digi card, do I fill out a tacho disc? If so, how do I fill it out for a digi tacho lorry? Hope that makes sense.

If you’ve never held a driver card you cannot legally drive a vehicle fitted with a digital tachograph.

If you have held a driver card but it’s lost/stolen or faulty you do not fill in a chart, you need to do vehicle printouts at the start of the shift and again at the end of the shift, you then put your name or driver card/licence number on the printouts and sign them.

Until you actually have a driver card you cannot legally drive a vehicle fitted with a digital tachograph.
