How many do you carry ?
I normally carry between 5 and 8.

Between 1 and 3.
Because that’s how many come in the boxes our firm buy. I got a box of 3 when I started in 2013, and there was still a full roll left in the glovebox, when I moved sideways Christmas this year.
As far as i know, DVSA want to see a spare roll. I swap trucks sometimes so i carry three in my bag to cover all situations
None, Disc tachos are great, if you go over time they can just go missing, or I magically had the day off

According to RDC legend 2 is the bare minimum.
If your stopped and only have one sods law is the paper will run out and then you have to put you spare in which means you no longer have a spare.

I was told there is no minimum requirement of print tolls as such, however, you must be able to print out your previous 28 days on request if an officer asks for it. So take that as you will. You need enough print rolls for 28 days whatever amount that would be!
Personally, I carry a box of 3 in my truck and have a box of 3 in my bag just in case o ever go in a different truck if mine is having its MOT or anything else done.
The legislation doesnt say how long the roll has to be,so just tear a bit off and you have two rolls.
Isn’t it all ■■■■■■■■ anyway because the dvsa can download your card or the tacho without needing a printout.
If the old bill ask for a printout they won’t know what they are looking at anyway; most of them didn’t understand

Ah, but if you have two in your bag, the paper in the unit runs out and you replace it, you will only have ONE spare. Therefore, the minimum number required (to always have two spare) is three.

No answer is correct, you must have enough to print off any required information by DVSA.
In my opinion the cheeky ■■■■■■■ shoudl supply their own rolls if they want to do printouts.

Me I have 11 rolls in my little box in my bag, you never know when someone may need one.

I’ve had my lorry with its digi tachograph for two and a half years. It’s still on the roll that was inside it when we got it.
I carry 3 spares I bought when we got lorry, so in 20 years I might have to buy another.
