tacho printouts

Radar19:
How do you do that?

Do it as if you were going to do a printout, so select 24hr card, and which day you would like, then instead of selecting “printer”, scroll down one and select “display” instead.

You can now scroll down through your entire days printout. The totals are at the end after the “Greek S” symbol.

That should save me having oddles of printouts everywhere!

Never do printouts at the end of the shift, none of the companies ive ever worked for have ever asked for them. Any info like hours worked etc… i just keep on my phone as a memo should i need it, at the end of the week transfer the info onto my computer.

Only time ive ever done a printout was because of going over my hours or to query an infringement the company claim i have.

Should save a couple of hectares of rainforest too!

In all seriousness it’s just a case of each to their own. I took one look at the senior driver’s diary on the week long induction I had and just cried. There were rolls of printouts everywhere!

Glad to help.

We have a time sheet we fill in and like a tacho disc holder that we just fill out. I tend to do a print out my week on Friday afternoon and sort it all out.
Tbf though, we don’t do alot of driving hours and its pretty basic, start at 0630 get our hour break in before 12:30.

Starting off as an agency driver on my firm before being taken on, I do a printout every day for my own records.
When called in a few weeks ago to be disciplined for an infringement, I queried a couple of items on the printout that did not show up on the office computer readout and our TM could not explain them and has had to enquire with the FTA tacho enquiries. I’m still trying to see him to get an answer.

Good point - I’ve had the same with some multi manning jobs showing an infringement “insufficient rest in driving period” - I kept the print out and cant get a proper answer as to why it shows an infringement.
