Tacho Card and Manual Entry

Hi everyone,

I’ve started with an agency and I’ve had a regular couple of days with one company.

Today I drove a luton van which didn’t have a tacho head unit fitted. If I am driving a vehicle with a tacho tomorrow do I need to make a manual entry for today?

If so, do I just put in the hours I drove for or the full days work which would be 04:00 until 17:30.

If it was under uk domestic rules then simply fill out the domestic record daily sheet
No need to do manual tacho entry
Keep a daily diary of what you do as that will satisfy DVSA
