I’m out in Euroland next week and passing through northern Luxembourg. Any hints to somewhere I could stock up on some English Tobacco and fill up with diesel?
When you say "northern Luxembourg i assume you mean through it. if you blinked you would of passed it
If my crap memory serves there used to be route 66, i think just off juct 1. i might be having a dementia moment and thinking of somewhere else.
Route 66 is quite a way south, might be to much of a detour.
Capellon motorway services on both sides of the road.Near the Capital. They sell big plastic buckets of loose tobacco then buy a small machine that rolls it in to a cigarette.
Coming off the truck transit route may lead to a fine.
There was the shell on the A31 as you run into lux from france they like most sell english cigs ect

If Route 66 is too far South, I can’t see Capellen services being much better really, can you?
I only know of two places, both to far South for you. Route 66 and Livange (I can’t even think of the name of the shop now I’m trying to ).
At the A6 in Luxemburg junktion 1 after the belgium border there is a small Total Station, Rue de Windhof,8399 Windhof

Windhof is also where Route 66 is, just before Capellen, which was to far South earlier, so probably still to far South.
Any route into northern Luxembourg will have several petrol stations just after the border. Whether or not you can fit a truck onto the forecourt is a different matter. Just plough on until you find one where you fit.
On the baccy front you may have to hunt around several places to find your particular brand. You could also try some of the large supermarkets.
In northern Luxembourg there are no truck transit restrictions basically because there are no motorways
