Don’t leave the front ones on, they are extremely bright on the new DAF’s and a right nuisance on dark roads for oncoming traffic.
Unless of course visibility is below 100 meters.
But is it a Euro 6 motor ■■?

C’mon then Norb?
Wind up or not?
I’m ready to bite, why is Eu 6 relevant?

Ahh Franglais ,on EURO 6 the fog lamp switch which has been pointed out is incorporated in to the main rotary light switch. So turn on to main beam and pull for fog…Euro 5 and before the fog light switch was a totally separate switch located randomly on the dash,So if it is a Euro5 the op may pull the main light switch apart
There do seem to be more and more lorries running around with their fogs on on crystal clear nights.

Ok. I was wondering if there was a newer Eu6 Mk2 reg concerning automatical switching of fog lights. They haven’t interfered with that recently have they? And I trust you noted I suggested pulling the switch “gently”?
My older DAFs were always treated fairly gently, by the way. This one gets a good kicking every morning and evening. Doesn’t affect the truck at all but me feel a little better. Keeps boot manufacturers in profits too.
