I am thinking of moving to Sweden and was wondering if anyone had any info on lifestyle, working hours and wages etc.

Weather in Winter is pretty harsh there mate, -lots and buckets of snow. But, then again, deep snow and ice is easier to drive on when it’s flippin cold. Ice is more than twice as slippery at -1 than it is at -10…

I bet they deal with 4 foot of snow better than Britain deals with 1 inch of snow!

My firm would still send me out without a night heater!

Fortunately, heating equipment is a part of the daily checks :smiley: so you can legitimately refuse to drive any wagon when it’s broken.

This probably would never occur in Sweden as they are quite advanced concerning workers rights and Health and Safety.
