That’s what took me surprise. Local to where I live Ayr, Kilmarnock and Irvine all have 24/7/7 supermarkets so I didn’t realise they all closed on Sunday nights in England.
In fairness whenever you go in in the middle of the night the night shift shelf stackers look at you like you’re completely out of order for being there - like you’re stepping on their territory - so I wouldn’t be surprised if firms were rolling back on it.
