It,s Hot…and the company you work for has a duty of care to you.
But in real world how many drivers have been given sun cream and water ,if your lucky you get a meal allowance so that covers the employer on the drink side of things!!!

Yup, worked for companies like that. Water, sunscreen, safety sunglasses. On the other hand I’ve worked for one that wouldn’t give you a glass of water if you were drowning.

This is one off the downsides to working for an old skool family firm. If he don’t need sun cream and water then why should I, if he bangs his head and cuts it open and doesn’t need to go and get it stitched then why do I(this has happened )on the other hand all this h&s is really starting to get ■■■■ and I don’t know if I could put up with working for someone who tells me I’m lifting a box wrong or shouldn’t be climbing on a lorry to make sure a loads secure.
