I have a TomTom 520 and a 4 gb SD card.
With Easyusetools, I input the Device ID, copy over the map metas to the insert folder, and I get a meta error “There is no such key”.
With FastActivate I copied over ttgo.bif to the SD card, copied FastActivate to the root of the SD card, and clicked the 2nd & 3rd buttons. Put the SD card in my TomTom, choose “Europe TRUCK”, it seems to boot up OK and show the map, but there are no truck functions. Also the “next” button on the preference screens is a graphic of the magnifying glass superimposed over the map - that doesn’t look correct.
I never imagined getting the truck software to work could be so fiddly - I’ve no problems jailbreaking iPhones and I’m certainly no computer novice! Is there a foolproof guide to installing the truck maps & navcore to an SD card? A lot of the guides are for installing all this to the root of the device.
