oh what a day that was, 27 tonnes of steel tube from corby to whitby , regular job , usual stuff , just wind the trailer brakes up before going down it , only problem that day was, he reloaded me out of whitby with 25 tonnes of chinese screws for about 3 drops in birmingham . so after getting down to 1st in my c series L10 250 on that hill , i hit a flatter bit and grabbed 2nd , big mistake she wouldn’t take it , had to reverse back to the flatter bit and start off again in crawler ( she wouldn’t take 1st), all the way to the top , poor old girl , she was all hot , bothered and smelling rather ‘clutchy’ .
