Another 3 day wait was in Sous,Tunisia, The wait there was not too bad as i was parked right on the beach and the hotel was cheap.
Was Tunisian work on the same vein as Morocco, ie clothes/garments etc back to Europe? Read a lot of Morocco (John Mann, Breda etc) but never heared much about Tunisia.
yes about the same work,i did it when i worked for an italian transport company,the loads were for johan birkart,nice work but the hanging about was sole distroying,2 days on a freighter across the med to Tunis then 3 to 4 days loading then 2 days back across the med,a day to get a T form to transit to Germany,them were the days.

Very interesting. Were there a lot of Europeans doing it at the time? The only thing I’ve ever read about it was to do with a German guy who did it regularly in the 90s or maybe early 2000s.
