Knowing my luck I’ll have to take a decker over the Severn Bridge then… :frowning:

No, it’ll be take a decker the long way round, no tags remember

We have tags

Not last Sunday they didn’t, deckers goin to magor had to go the long way, the tags that are sometimes used aren’t tesco tags

As long as that carries on, I’ll never put myself in the position to be signed off to pull deckers

You working tomorrow night when this storm is supposed to be rolling in??

Heathrow to Halifax, wouldnt you be better with the m1 m62 ? at 2am the 25 will be clear all way round.

jessicas dad:
Im on tomorrow nights Portsmouth to caen ferry… been and bought my sickness tablets.

Just been on sky news that some ferries leaving south coast ports on Sunday and Monday have been cancelled already, might wanna check before you leave

First thing Monday morning I am heading to Shrewsbury/Telford from Warrington for a bit of pottering around down there, but on a rigid flat bed thankfully :sunglasses:
Though I have just bought myself a pair of hi-vis wet legs in Aldi today, no more soggy pants

Got some decent 12 hour shifts around the M25 the next few days starting tomorrow… With weight on I’ll be feeling a lot safer than when running light.
Glad I won’t be using the Dartford crossing or medway bridges though.

Don’t need to be signed off to do trunking with one though
Yeah, working tonight, and Monday night…

forecasts are never right-i must have said that a million times . what with all the gizmos the weather boys have now,you would think they would be right more than 50% of the time but they arent .

I was around the top of North Wales Thursday night (Bangor) on the way back from Holyhead and there were a few unsettling strong gusts then. Wouldn’t fancy going that way again if this storm does hit, it’s quite open up that way especially Anglesey.

As is always the case though it seems the media is hyping it all up. About an hour ago BBC news quoted gusts of 90mph :unamused:

Jessica’s Dad won’t be going anywhere.Ships have problems docking. They have stuck outside the port waiting to get in.

Whether this storm happens or not, it won’t make any difference. We will all go in to work and be sent out on a run the same as always. We will be expected to just ‘chance it’ - most will be ok, some won’t.

+1 lol

Whether the forecasts are right or wrong about wind speeds there’s obviously going to be some unpleasant backside twitching moments tommorow.

Hope everyone stays safe if it is bad Monday.
